Description
Aroma skin care can have huge effects while acting so soft. The essential oil of the manuka flower proves it time and time again as its active ingredients composition is an ideal all-time cosmetic companion. Manuka oil is seen as the “real” tea tree oil, because it’s up to 40 times more effective than Australian tea tree oil with only a fraction of the skin-irritating cineols.

The most important substances of Manuka oil according to Cobicos:
Sesquiterpenes (approx. 65 %): accelerate wound healing and mucous membrane regeneration by directing histamine.
Triketones (approx. 25 %): have so far only been proven in Manuka and have an extraordinary effect on gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococci and streptococci (also the antibiotic-resistant). They also stimulate the central nervous system and brain activity and thus promote the ability to concentrate.
Sesquiterpenols (approx. 5 %): have a positive effect on the pituitary gland and ensure a stable hormone balance.
Monoterpenes (approx. 3 %): stimulate the body to produce anti-inflammatory substances
Cineol: slightly irritating to the skin, but only contained to a very small extent in Manuka (0.17 %); in Australian tea tree oil the proportion is between 2% and 7%

Used as essential oil, manuka oil is especially rich and should be diluted in carrier substances before being applied on larger skin areas, where it can easily reach deeper skin layers to carry its impact. Particularly suitable for inflamed, itchy and infected areas on skin and mucosa. Whether used in cleansing emulsions, shampoo, body lotion or carrier oil, whether used for humans or animals – this essential manuka oil is very versatile, soothing and may be also used prophylactically. Caution: do not apply to cats!
Application
Essential manuka oil is primarily for external use. Please do a skin test on the back of your hand or your forearm before using it for the first time.

Manuka oil must not get into your eyes! In case of eye contact, immediately rinse thoroughly under running water.

For aromatherapy use, add 4-6 drops to a diffuser and enjoy! Promotes concentration, relieves colds and strengthens the immune system.

Tips for daily use:
For flaky and itchy scalp, add 5-10 drops of manuka oil to a mild shampoo. Shake well and wash as usual.
If you have impure skin, add a drop of manuka oil to your facial cleansing cream every day and wash your face as usual. Blemished skin can also be dabbed with pure oil (use sparingly!).
For irritated skin, mix about six drops of manuka oil into the shower gel or liquid soap in portions. Then use mild manuka oil for skin care.
For dental care, a drop of manuka oil can be added to a mild toothpaste directly on the toothbrush. Alternatively, add a drop of oil to mouthwash.
